December Wacom deals: what's really worth it (and what's not)

We've found the best deals currently out there for drawing tablets from Wacom – and discovered which deals are just old models being flogged cheap on Amazon.

Even though most deals have ended for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2018, and the Christmas promos have yet to truly start, it doesn't mean there are no cheap deals out there on creative tech to enjoy. That said, still make sure you're not being ripped off by paying big prices for old models.

Here we're keeping you from that fate by concentrating on current deals on Wacom graphics tablets, some of the best drawing tech out there on the market for creatives.

Currently you can pick up a Cintiq 13 for £100 less at £789 from the Wacom site.  Note that at first glance on Amazon you might think you can get it for £649 – but that's an older version.

On Amazon you can get money off though on Wacom's non-pro Intuos range including the Small and Medium models with up to £60 off on the latter.

One other great Wacom deal is the Wacom Intuos Pro Large for Mac or PC, currently priced at $100 less on Amazon USA.

If looking for a Wacom alternative, you can get a discount on Huion products when buying in conjunction with various Cintiq-esque tablets from the brand on Amazon - we're talking 30% off gloves, which is the best of the two promotions on offer. The alternate offer is 20% off a very basic (and oddly small) tablet from Huion - which you can safely ignore, dear Digital Arts reader.

One of the higher end Huion models included in the Amazon offer is the Kamvas PRO13 at £332; a Cintiq-like model we haven't tried but it seems to be worth a try according to some reviews you can find out there. Get the deal here.
