While much of what we read about design is in digital form – including on the fine website you're on right now – but there's still very much a place for the printed book in our lives. You can't fill your bookshelves at home with ebooks, and the imagery and examples that are inherent in design books aren't as appealing or informative (or big enough) on a Kindle or iPad. And proper science done by boffins has shown that you remember things better when read from ink on paper than on-screen.
